10 day count down!

These are just 2 of the pictures of the Fall leaves and flowers I took. In all I took about 30 or so...

We had the BYU Petty cousins here for confrence. It was fun and we all had nice naps as you can see.

It has been an exuberant amount of time since I last posted. This past summer, Emily and Devin with their kids came to live with us while Devin worked his Internship. We had lots of fun with niece and nephew Nef :) and Adelle learned to walk in August!
In October, Mom, Breanna and I went to Houston Texas to compete in the Sweet Adelines international Competition. We loved going there and had lots of fun competing :) Mom and I enjoy singing with the Mountian Jubilee Chorus.
Nicolene Peck and Page Peck were 2 ladies we spent lots of time with in Houston! We roomed with them at the hotel and pretty much went every where with them. We Love them :)

You may be wondering what the 10 day countdown refers too since I han't gotten to it yet. In ten days my brother Preston returns from his Mission in Chile!! I cannot believe its already been 2 years! We are way excited! His homecoming talk will be on Sunday the 26th at our ward building ;) lots of fun!

At long long last....

I haven't posted for a long time so i decided it was about time ;) Above it the heart shaped cake we made on Valentines day. It was a black forest cake :) verry yummy... Below is a picture of our down time at a rehursal for HSM, the play I am currently in. Under that is a picture of me and Nate and Elliot doing our european project. We made crepes and ate them ;)

Dianne flew in to visit and do some wedding planning and came to see the play that just ended, Once Upon a Mattress. I played Lady Larken. Above is a picture of a few of us in that play. In December I got a camera and i use it for everything! I love it. It's name is Connie Lou :) Well, thats been my life recently. I am teaching myself to play some guitar and I play around on the piano a lot... Mom has been taking part in a Womens Barbershop chorus and she loves it ;) I am still singing with two of my good friends as the Nightingale Trio and we have been building our bank of songs to perform. And all in all, life is good ;)

My life for the last, long long time...

Well things have been hapening here. For confrence in October Emily and Devin came down with Caleb and Adelle. We also had Adelles blessing party thingy. During confrence Emily showed me how to make ribbon flowers (for your hair) and I've been making some ever sence. The weekend before halloween we had a big garage sale and sold lots of stuff. For halloween I finnaly was able to make my 6 year old dream come true and be a princess. I used Aunt Reas Belle dress. It was cool. I also got to go work at Gardener Village for a big halloween event and it was fun. I went with Maddie and we had lots of fun. We got our eyes glitterd too(pictures above.) The school finally got the cast up. I got the part of Lady Larken. So now I've been going to those rehursals. Just last Wednesday (the 17th) was the first dance concert and it was kinda sad to know that we were done with that but it was fun too. Our theme was "Dancing throught the ages" so we had a Renesance dance and a 1900's dance and all the way to a 2000's dances. It was very educational.
Emilee, Terra and I have been trying to get enough songs learned to be able to record a christmas CD and we will have to see how that goes.
More later :)

Jakson/Yellowstone Lake

This past week we went to Jakson Lake with Caleb. We also went to Yellowstone Lake. We did a lot of boating with the really big waves. All of us including Caleb got a chance to water ski. Caleb didn't like it very much. I got to re-read one of my many favorite books, Howels Moving Castle. I loved it for the second time as much as the first.
Caleb didn't like is jacket. When ever we said that he had to put it on he'd cry. He had lots of fun though.Uncle Skyler took Caleb on the Gondola that was at the place where we saw the "Project Trio" perform. I'm pretty sure that he liked it.
This is in Yellowstone Lake where you can see the hot pots from the lake. When we got to Yellowstone Lake we found out that there's no water skiing or swimming alowed in this lake. Of course the first thought that crossed my mind was, "Then what DO you do?" All we did was ride around in the boat. We stopped around at the islands and saw all of the wild life and stuff. When we went to see Old Faithful it was raining and Caleb liked to just go walk around in the rain!
Aunt Nana (as Caleb calls her) was always with Caleb. He loved her.

One suprise of this years trip is that the Sorensons wern't at Jakson when we were. Suprising because they were for the last two years. Odd.

Random!

I havent blogged since Easter! Well Summer's been fun and last week we were in California with Charlies family. It was great. We went to see Wicked in San Francisco, we had a blast and it was a great show. I would reccmend going to see it to anyone who asked, the music was good and the acting was very funny.

This year on the 4th of July this year we only did 2 parades... Me and a few of my friends sang in them and it was fun. If i can get the pictures I'll do that later.

Well that was a random update... :)
